14 US Soldiers from Task Force Lightning die in Iraq

Today Wednesday 14 US soldiers have died in Iraq while in their helicopter, the U.S. military has said that the fourteen soldiers were from Task Force Lightning. There were two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters on patrol in the sky’s of Iraq when one of them crashed, details from the U.S military say that there was no hostile fire and that the crash was due to a mechanical malfunction.
As we said before the 14 Soldiers who sadly dies in the crash were all from the Army’s Task Force Lightning, in the helicopter were four crew members of the Black hawk and the other 10 were passengers. The Army has launched an investigation as to why this incident happened.
There have now been 3,721 deaths of U.S. troops, and the sad fact is this number will only grow.
