These maps which the insurance industry use to date back from 1867 to 1969, and the great thing about these maps are the way that they deceit residential, commercial, and industrial section of each city. These maps offer block by block renderings of a huge range of cities.
These Fire Insurance Maps were designed by surveyor D.A. Sanborn in 1866, the maps used are a huge help when it comes to assist fire insurance agents. These color coded maps help to determine the amount of danger and hazards in a property.
