Nathan Sawaya was born in Colville, Washington; he was then raised in Veneta, Oregon. Sawaya started his artistic career in Christmas 1978 when he got his first bricks as a Christmas present, shortly after that his living room was turned into a Lego city. He also showed his artistic side by drawing cartoons he also wrote stories as well. Over the year Sawaya’s models became much larger, like his 7-foot-long replica of the Brooklyn Bridge, a 6-foot-tall Han Solo frozen in carbonite, and a life-size tyrannosaurus rex.
Many know that when they look at Nathan Sawaya’s work you will see that he has put his heart and soul into his creations so he can get the perfect scale and also the perfect color.
