At 12.30PM on Monday the Wachovia Bank at 1500 Westinghouse Boulevard was robbed, and the suspect who robbed the bank was a lone black man. Reports from the police say that the suspect handed a note to the bank teller which had demanded money. In that note it indicated that the bank robber was armed, but there was no proof as no weapon was seen throughout the robbery.
As of yet we do not know how much money was taken from the Wachovia Bank, the suspect then ran off and after that it is not known if the suspect escaped by foot or car. The description of the suspect is a black male aged 25 to 30 years-old, with a height of 5 foot 11, and weighs 200 pounds. He was wearing a black t-shirt, dark pants and was wearing a black cap with white stripes and the letters NC on the front of the cap.
Anyone with any information about the Wachovia Bank robbery needs to contact their local FBI office.
