Queen of Mean Hotelier Leona Helmsley Dies aged 87

Helmsley was already an experienced woman when it came to real estate even before her marriage, but she then went on to help her husband run his $5 billion empire these included managing building like the Empire State Building. Back in 1989 Leona Helmsley became a household name when she was caught and tried for tax evasion.
During the court trail disgruntled employees came forward to say how Leona had terrorized them, which is how she got her nickname Queen of Mean. Early this year Forbes named Leona Helmsley as the 369th richest person in the world, she was said t be worth at least $2.5 billion.
