Dr Ulrich Bez, the Chief Executive Officer for Aston Martin was on hand at Pebble Beach to give us his own view on this sleek and sexy car. Dr Ulrich Bez said that “The DBS is the ultimate expression of Aston Martin’s engineering and technical ability.” He then went on to say “It offers pure performance without compromise.” There has always been a gap between the DB9 and DBR9, which is where the DBS comes in as the car managed to brides that gap to offer the complete driving experience.

James Bond showed to us how great the Aston Martin DBS can handle on a twisting mountain circuit, but it also feels at home on long straights. This is thanks to the vehicles 6.0-litre V12 powered engine; this two-seater sports car also has the aerodynamics needed to give it high performance.
The Aston Martin DBS will go from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 4.3 seconds, and has a top speed of 302km/h (191mph).
The DBS will be on sale during the first quarter of 2008, we will have to wait until September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, when Aston Martin will confirm the price.
