Canon EOS 40D Digital SLR: camera finally introduced, appeals to photography enthusiasts

This is Canon’s new EOS 40D digital SLR camera that was finally unveiled in Tokyo today, the new 10.1 million megapixel CMOS digital camera will be sold from August 31st in Japan.

Aimed at photography enthusiasts and ideal as a second digital camera for professionals the newly enhanced device features a Digic III image processor and a 6.5 fps continuous shooting capability.

If you’re into capturing pictures from a wide variety of action and sports scenes or love to capture the moment from outdoor and wild-nature scenes then this makes a perfect camera.

The Canon EOS 40D SLR has a fantastic combination of features like the four-channel-per-line sensor readout, DDR SDRAM high-speed memory, Digic III processor, two separate motors for shutter and mirror operation which give this camera great speed and sensibility.

That’s just a short taste of why this camera is hot for certain people and if it touches your spots then you will be glad to know it’s scheduled for September delivery.

The body-only configuration will sell for around $1,299.00 and the kit version for $1,499.00 that will sport an EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens.
