Category 4 Storm Hurricane Dean
The storm is raging across the Caribbean and although the projected path of Hurricane Dean can only be guessed it has got many in that area of the world worried.

Now that Hurricane Dean has reached a category 4 storm it will cause much more damage, but the real big worry is if it ever gets to a category 5.

The winds of Hurricane Dean are currently reaching around 120mph to 150mph, this caused major damage in St Lucia were it tore corrugated metal roofs from dozens of homes.

With expects guessing the projected path of Hurricane Dean now west towards Jamaica and Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.

This has also had affects on the oil world as in the Gulf of Mexico there is 4,000 oil and gas platforms.

There are no signs of this hurricane losing power and with warm waters ahead it just may reach a category 5.
