Wu-Tang is killing it, but the real treat has been Public Enemy and the Coup. I got pics and interviews with Blackalicious live at http://blogs.sfweekly.com/shookdown/
    Check it. Thanks.

The show was amazing. As the festival went on, the anticipation for Rage escalated. Some people were just in the crowd during Wu Tang Clan’s set, just so they could get a decent spot for Rage ( some were even sitting down! ). By the time Wu finished, the crowd was getting restless, shoving and pushing each other to the point where some girls were literally crying ( understandably ). When Rage came on, it was just a constant amount of supressed enery for 80 minutes. It was simply amazing.

it was absolutely amazing. I was bummed that Doom didn’t show, but seeing Blackalicious (who opened with a song the went from normal tempo to double to quadruple time and Gift of Gab never missed a beat) Public Enemy, the Roots, Cypress Hill, Wu Tang and Rage was enough to take care of that.

all the performances were great. simply great
