Steve McQueen’s brown Ferrari Lusso: The Star Car at Christies Monterey Auction

Christies Monterey Auction which is being held at Pebble Beach Week 2007 has a star car, at that is Steve McQueen’s brown Ferrari Lusso. Ok I know what you are thinking, why on earth is there a brown Ferrari on our planet, but come on this sports car was personally owned by actor Steve McQueen.

Ok for all you Ferrari lovers out there you will know that it is not brown and in fact Marrone Metallizzato, either way I bet Steve McQueen had a good go with this car because he did love to race. For those of you who are not familiar with the Ferrari Lusso, you will notice that it has a slight resemblance to the sexy Ferrari GT.

Steve McQueen purchased the car in 1963; he drove the vehicle everyday for almost four years. This Ferrari was his pride and joy up until McQueen to ownership of his next special Ferrari.

Steve McQueen’s brown Ferrari Lusso is expected to fetch $1 million ant the special Christies Monterey Auction.
