Hurricane Dean gains power: Projected path Jamaica and Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula

So far Dean has caused three deaths on a small Caribbean Island as it has now gained strength and is now a Category 3 storm, with wind speeds reaching 125mph. It gained power and picked up speed as it crossed the warm seas of the Caribbean. There are fears that Hurricane could even reach speeds of 150mph. This could prove a headache for the 4,000 oil and gas platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.
