BAE Systems gives us the first Army Hybrid Tank: American green power

BAE Systems have been developing the hybrid tank for the army, which is to form part of the army’s future combat systems. The batteries which are to be used in this ground combat vehicle are being made in Detroit. The army believes that these hybrid tanks and hummer are very important, as they are more fuel efficient so there will be less fuel lines needed, and that means that less army troops will be put in danger.
The army should be using the first hybrid tank by 2008, and will feature a Non-Line-of-Sight Cannon; there will also be a 155mm self-propelled howitzer as its main gun.
