It is expected that Tropical Storm Erin will not form into a hurricane as is passes over Texas, which is why only some vacationers packed up, while others decided to sit out the torrential rainfall that Tropical Storm Erin brings is bringing.
Some people have been saying “It’s not a hurricane. I ain’t worried. If they say don’t evacuate, I’m not going to worry about it.” Gov. Rick Perry has ordered the National Guard to head towards Harlingen and Corpus Christi areas. Perry said that he called in the National Guard as the areas that the storm is going to bombarded areas that have been hit before. But Rick said that there was no need for an evacuation as it will only be heavy rainfall that they have to put up with.
There are still three and a half months left in the hurricane season, and the past few Tropical Storm Erin, Tropical Storm Dean, and Hurricane Flossie have all been a wake-up call.
