Jury reaches verdict in Jose Padilla terror case

The jury has reached a verdict in the terror case involving Jose Padilla, also two co-defendants have also been charged with supporting al Qaeda and other extreme terrorist groups.
The jury which consists of five women and seven men took about a day to deliberate on the trail that has gone on for three months. If found guilty Jose Padilla, Kifah Wael Jayyous, and Adham Amin Hassoun could all face a life sentence. Prosecutors have worked hard to try and convict Padilla, they maintain that he was a star recruit for many terrorist cells including al Qaeda.
The reading of the jury’s verdict will be 2PM EDT.
