Elvis Fan is to restore The King’s former Palm Springs Home: Could it be another Graceland?

Elvis Presley’s Palm Springs Californian home has recently been bought by fans Reno Fontana and his wife Laura. They have revealed their plans to turn the house into a tourist attraction.
The couple bought the Spanish-style, five-bedroom home without seeing it first. They plan to restore it and offer Elvis fans another destination besides his Graceland home in Memphis, Tennessee.
Fontana has said, “I want this to be Elvis of California,” he continued, “We may have our names on the deed, but we are the caretakers. This house belongs to Elvis fans around the world.”“
Elvis and his wife Priscilla Presley bought the home in April 1970 and lived there with their daughter, Lisa Marie.
Our recent post reported that approximately 50,000 Elvis fans are expected to gather in Memphis tonight (15th August) to perform a vigil by candlelight to mark the 30th anniversary of the star’s death. Priscilla Presley is to attend an event to unveil a statue of Elvis so Graceland visitors should keep an eye out for her. This is her first time attending the annual Elvis Week event and has said, “I don’t plan to tour Graceland. I have seen it before,”
