David Beckham Finally Scores For LA Galaxy In D.C. United Victory
August 16, 2007 | Filed under News, Sports News
At long last David Beckham has scored for LA Galaxy as they beat D.C. United 2-0.
David Beckham scored from his trademark free kick in the 27th min. David Beckham also set up a another goal in the game.
So has David Beckham as scored 1 one that means LA Galaxy have paid 250 million for a goal so far. Wait, he did set up the other goal, so that 125 million per goal for David Beckham. Mind you, he was injured for some time.
Although this is a good start David Beckham will have to do a lot more to justify his price tag.
What do you think? Can Beckham make a mark in the MLS?

Well, Michael Vick gets paid $100 million and all he does is get arrested every other week, speak English at a third-grade level, and generally embarrass the civilized human race.
David Beckham is the epitome of a role-model for kids. He’s gone through so much adversity in his career and overcame it EVERY time. His former coach at Real Madrid ripped into him in the media when he was under duress. Yet, Beckham only praised his manager and said Real Madrid is lucky to have Capello. And Beckham threw it back in their faces by winning the Spanish League Title.
He received death threats from English fans after the 1998 World Cup. He threw it back in their faces by hitting the game winning goal to put England back into the World Cup in 2002. And yet, he NEVER bad mouthes anybody.
That is called class and grace. That is how all athletes should carry themselves.
