A new television series, named ‘Paycheck Showdown’ has been aired recently with a huge amount of anticipation. Millions of people have been expecting this program to be pretty damn good judging by its new-found popularity. Most of us hard workers could learn from it too.

Normal, middle class laborers who feel they’re significantly underpaid take matters into their own hands and learn how to ask their bosses for a raise. With the help of employment experts, of course. Obviously, this can be seen as entertainment at its best, just think of all the arguments that could brew.

On the subject of brewing, we started with Mike, a line cook who feels as though he’s working harder than it says on his paycheck.

I loved the show Paycheck Showdown. I am currently in negotiations for my job as well and I really enjoyed the information that was given, I also learned a lot about how to calculate what you are worth. I didn’t realize how much looks and gender really matter in a job. Good luck with the show.

  • underpaid too!

What the heck, TLC?! Where is the link on your website that claims to go to all your calculators?! I loved the show, but can’t even find it listed on your site right now, let alone the pay calculators your on-air hosts promised would be there.
