VMware IPO

The VMware IPO will soon be available as investors have to opportunity to purchase shares in VMware as the company floats 11% of its stock.

The VMware IPO will contain 33 million shares at $29.00 per share. This will bring in $957 million for VMware and as the VMware IPO is only for 11% of the company, this means VMware is worth $8.7 billion.

However there is a lot of anticipation behind the VMware IPO, so we could see the valuation rise to $10 billion.

That’s more than a billion for every year that VMware has been around as it was founded in 1998
