The Russian company Paritetboat has now developed a glass bottom boat, LOOKER as it is named comes in many sizes, but all have a 2×3 meter spheroid window which is made from 15mm-thick modified acrylic. This acrylic is stronger than fiberglass which is what the boats hull is made from.

Many of you will be thinking, wow there are already so many glass bottomed boats out there so what makes the Looker so different. Well normally glass-bottomed boats are used on sight-seeing tours and are very slow, and have a small piece of glass to view the sea through. This Russian boat has a hydrofoil design and has a sleek aerodynamic design, the boat will reach speeds of up to 40 knots, and the fuel consumption will be about 4.7mpg, for boat lovers you will know that this is very high for a speed boat with a length of 30ft.
The Russian made looker is already in use for recreational use throughout the world, but is best loved with divers, as it seems the perfect boat for the job.
