Rihanna Music Fans: their take on Umbrella Acoustic

Rihanna’s Umbrella was a worldwide smash hit and in the UK it stayed at number one for an astonishing 10 weeks. The single has inspired plenty of Rihanna fans to showcase their acoustic versions of the Hit single.

Rihanna was born in Saint Michael, Barbados. It wasn’t until secondary school that she found her love for music and started a musical tri with two of her classmates.
In 2004 she won the Miss Combermere Beauty Pageant and performed Mariah Carey’s “hero”. She got her break when one of her friends introduced her to music producer Evan Rogers who then helped her record some material and sent it to various recording companies. A copy of her work went to Jay-Z who signed her to DefJam records. The rest, as they say, is history.

The single Umbrella is her biggest hit to date and was well received by everyone, although some people in England said it brought the rain, It’s not surprising, we’ve had a really bad summer!

Everyone’s favourite YouTube has been the place to for fans and aspiring artists to upload their versions of the song and most of them are extremely good.
The song must mean a lot to fans if they want to dedicate their own version to Rhianna. I would be chuffed to bits if I were her.
