MLB Star Phil Rizzuto Dies Aged 89

Phil Rizzuto, was a Hall of Famer baseball player and a New York Yankees All-Star shortstop as well as a sports broadcaster.
Sadly, Phil Rizzuto died today aged 89.
Phil Rizzuto contributed to a number of New York Yankee championships and as well as on the pitch, off the pitch Phil Rizzuto was entertaining after Phil Rizzuto finished his baseball playing career he went on to work in the team’s broadcast booth.
Phil Rizzuto was nicknamed “Scooter” or Phil Scooter Rizzuto due to his diminutive size.
Our thoughts are with the friends and family of Phil Rizzuto at this sad time.
