Jordin Sparks and American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis Prepping Debut Albums

While their fellow “American Idol” finalists wait for word later this month on their futures, season six champ Jordin Sparks and runner-up Blake Lewis are hard at work on their debut albums.
Jordin said that “I’m feeling a little bit of pressure because it’s coming up so fast, but I have full confidence that we’ll finish it by the time we have to.”
Jordin has just recorded four songs so far Jordin plans to do the bulk of the recording back in Los Angeles after the Idols Live tour finishes on 22nd September.
Blake said that he has recorded eight songs so far and is working with producers such as Sam Hollander and Mike Elizondo.
Jordin and Blake are both signed with Sony BMG by virtue of their “Idol” finishes, but the rest of the “Idol” crew is awaiting word on whether they’ll receive an offer later this month.

I will definitely be buying Blake’s album. Blake is a very talented musician with an original sound and much musical talent aside from his vocals. I can’t wait to hear what he puts out on his cd. I’m sure that Blake’s cd will be well worth a listen. He’s got some talented producers working on it with him also.
I will NOT buy Jordin’s album. One bubble gum teen singer is just like the next. And if I had to look at her cheesy huge grin on the cover of her cd, I’d have to pass just for that reason alone. I’m so tired of looking at that girl’s teeth!! Does she ever close her mouth????? She’s too fake for me. If Melinda, the true winner, puts out a cd, I’ll be right there to buy it!
I will definitely buy Blake’s, probably not Jordin’s though I did like her on the show. Blake is more my type of music.
