As the celebrations begin for the Independence Day of both India and Pakistan, both countries have started to exchange prisoners. Pakistan have now sent home 134 Indian prisoners who had crossed the Pakistan border illegally, India is now expected to return some Pakistani prisoners, as a mark of respect for their independence.
The two neighboring countries are celebrating their 60th anniversary of their creation after British rule. 60 years ago it was thought that more than 10 million people crossed the borders in both directions, this was in fact one of the largest migrations in history, this migrations also cost the lives of 500,000 to 1,000000 people through violence.
Although both India and Pakistan are celebrating their Independence, they will not be allowed to use fireworks in public places and public gatherings have also been banned.
India have come a long way in only 60 years as they now have the second largest population in the world and have one of the fastest growing economies, and now it seems as if India will become a Superpower
