Homer Hickam famous for Rocket Boys finishes third book called The Far Reaches

Ok so a boy from West Virginia has a great passion for rockets, and the question is “where to next? Well what about The Far Reaches. Homer Hickam is very famous for books such as Torpedo Junction and Rocket Boys and it seems that the third book just finished is just as good.

The new book titled “The Far Reaches,” is the third in the Josh Thurlow series which basically follows the Coast Guard captain during the invasion of Tarawa and then Thurlow meets up with an Irish num sister called Sister Mary Kathleen, the tale of the Thurlow’s adventures which both in war and with humankind are so tightly put together.

Hickam also has another book titled “Red Helmet,” which is set for release for February 14th 2008
