Rush Hour 3 tops the Box Office

Now, I’m not a rush hour fan but it looks like about 5 million people are with the movie hitting the number one spot with total takings at $50.2 million. It’s $17 million below the previous movie but with strong numbers and good takings it looks like Chris Tucker still has a career.

The Bourne Ultimatum, last week’s number one, lost just over 50% of its first week numbers but stayed at number two with a strong $33 million. That means The Bourne Ultimatum has earned a very healthy $132.3 million in two weeks, with The Simpsons adding a further $11.3 million to take their total after three weeks to $152.3 million.

I just hope that Rush Hours success at the box office doesn’t lead to a fourth movie!
