Now, I’m totally biased when it comes to Vince Vaughn because I think I’m actually in love with him, but in all honesty and fairness I think that Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days & 30 Nights - Hollywood to the Heartland will be one of the funniest films to hit theatres in 2008.
The documentary was filmed from September 12 October 2005 and sees Vaughn and his hand picked four stand-up comedians do a 30 show tour, in the spirit of the old west variety shows. Vince plays the emcee for the month long comedy tour with special appearances from surprise celebrity and musical guests.
“The documentary gives audiences a rare opportunity to experience Vaughn and his team as bring their unique styles and perspectives to regional audiences throughout Western, Southern and Midwestern states. Through rousing on-stage performances and behind-the-scenes interviews, the engaging grass roots documentary breaks down the true essence of each comedian’s life altering experiences and the personal and professional challenges that will unite four comics, one movie star and legions of fans from Hollywood to the Heartland.”
The film is definitely onto a winner, especially as the interaction between Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn is eye-wateringly funny. Make sure you check out the red band trailer below, but be warned it does feature some mild language and adult humour.
