NFL Running Back Thomas Jones, was forced to remain on the sidelines on Monday.
This is due to an injury, a possible lisfranc sprain, that Thomas Jones sustained in practice.
“I can tell you that he is working extremely hard, and he’ll be back as quickly as he can,” coach Eric Mangini said. “Thomas has a pretty strong track record. He’s been pretty durable.”
Thomas Jones had a wrap on his leg and although the exact details of the injury are as yet unclear, there are rumours that Thomas Jones may have a lisfranc sprain.
Thomas Jones rushed 1,210 yards and got six touchdowns when leading the Chicago Bears to the Superbowl last year. Jones was recently traded to the Jets so losing him to a possible lisfranc sprain would be a big blow for the Jets?
