David Gordon Green’s Snow Angels has a release date

David Gordon Green’s Snow Angels wasn’t particularly well received at the Sundance Film Festival this year when it has it’s world premiere, but there have been some great responses to it which left critics wondering when it will have a release date.

The film is an adaptation about a married couple who have split. Sam Rockwell plays a born again father who is not yet over the break-up. Kate Bekinsale plays the mother who is having an affair with one of her co-worker’s husband. She works at an all American Chinese restaurant where she works with a nerdy kid she used to baby-sit named Arthur. What’s interesting about the film is that it’s not mostly seen from the eye of Kate Bekinsale or Sam Rockwell’s character, but Arthur’s who is mainly a side character.

We still haven’t had a release date for Snow Angels until now, finally! The movie will be released in one or two cities on March 7th 2008 and expand from there based on the response.
