Did Colin Powell Lie?

In his presentation to the UN Security Council on February 5, 2003, Colin Powell made a number of claims but one of them was blown away in the top criminal court in Britain, the Old Bailey.

This happened in the trial of the infamous “UK poison cell” and Colin Powell said they were al-Qaeda associates.

Colin Powell claimed this terrorist cell was ready to mount attack on the UK ricin but the trial has shown the opposite.

In the UK’s terror sweep, authorities arrested 90 people, 9 were charged but no a single person has been convicted. One person was convicted of the murder of police officers that took part in the raid but that was not terrorism.

Do you think Colin Powell told an outright lie?

Should Colin Powell be put on trial for this?

Is terrorism an over hyped fear?
