New GfK NOP Survey Commissioned by Pontis: People Hate Mobile Phone Ads

Well a new GfK NOP survey that was commissioned by Pontis shows that I am not the only one that hates ads on mobile services.
The public have an extremely deep level of dissatisfaction with the way the mobile service providers are marketing to us phone users.
The survey shows that:
- 11% actually admitted to purchasing an item or signed up for a promotion
- 70% consider the marketing offers not to be relevant
- 64% of people who viewed mobile ads are reported to find them very annoying
So I guess they will keep marketing to us for those 11% that buy something and the other 89% will just have to put up with it.
