Video shows how to convert your Toyota Prius hybrid in to a Plug-in and get 100 mpg
Like many of us Ryan Fulcher is not one of those men who worries about carbon neutral or he does not try to change his driving style in order to be a greener driver, but before you environmentalist put the boot it, this man has done something to his Prius that will leave all over green lovers in the shade.

What Ryan has actually done is convert is Toyota Prius hybrid vehicle into a plug-in version, the result is 100 mpg. This video shows us what he did to convert his already global warming friendly car into something even more of a tree hugger. This video will also show you how to convert your Prius into a plug-in.

Fulcher uses a Manzanita Micro battery charger, which charges the batteries while plugged in at home, there are also additional lead-acid batteries which charge the stock battery. This system helps to extend the range of the electric motor in the Toyota Prius. Ok here is the bad news; if you want to do this conversion you will need a spare $10,000 to $12,000. Spending this kind of money would take you years to get your money back from this system.

But let’s look at this logically, what Ryan Fulcher has done is show these automakers how easy it can be done, and if they started to build these plug-in vehicles then we could purchase one on the market much cheaper than doing it ourselves.
