MediaWhiz Becomes Latest Internet Ad Network For Sale: $450m

MediaWhiz is not actually an online advertising company itself, but it is a holding company for a number of online advertising networks such as Text Link Ads and Auction Ads (that they bought just recently).

MediaWhiz many now be up for sale to some private equity companies, asking around $400-$450 million. This is approximately two and half to three times estimated revenues for 2007.

Online advertising companies are being snapped up by all over the show this year.

Google, Yahoo and AOL have all made large acquisitions with deals totalling $10billion.
