It has been reported that tropical storm Flossie has now been upgraded to a Hurricane by the National Hurricane Center. The storm formed on Wednesday and was halfway between Mexico and Hawaii.
If Hurricane Flossie stays on course then it will go very close to Hawaii, sometime early this week. It is hoped that Hurricane Flossie will take a more Northern route, if so then it will hit cooler waters and will then weaken the storm.
