Media Company GigaOm Gets Paul Walborsky As COO

The year old media company GigaOm from Om Malik now has five blogs under its control as well as a video show and a job listing website.

To help with this fast growth, Paul Walborsky, who is an experienced executive has been brought in as the company’s Chief Operating Officer

Paul Walborsky has worked in senior positions at Hercules Technology Growth Capital, Lehman Brothers, ING Barings and Swiss Bank Corp.

It looks like the new COO will be able to help with the non-editorial duties, whilst Om Malik can concentrate on managing other writers and writing himself, full time.
