FDA To Investigate Chinese Seafood Claims Of Banned Drugs, Chemicals

Shipment of seafood from China are being investigated by the The Food and Drug Administration.

The Chinese seafood may not have been correctly cleared for public consumption and may have contained banned drugs and chemicals.

However, officials at the agency said that although that thought the seafood was screened correctly, they wanted more details on 28 shipments that were given the FDA “import alert,” which is supposed to trigger the tough screening requirement.

This another health scare regarding products from China, can you trust any food imports from China?

Although the Chinese imports may be cheaper, do you think it is safer to consumer local products?
