The vehicles will be ready sometime in October or November, and will cost $100,000. The electric cars were meant to launch this summer, but Tesla Motors had a small delay.
These eco friendly roadsters are being assembled by Lotus Engineering back in England, but the electric motors are being manufactured by Tesla in Taiwan, the battery packs are being manufactured in Thailand. Out of the 570 vehicles already sold, the California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be squeezing into one, along with George Clooney also.
Tesla Motors Electric Roadster sports car will go from 0-60 in just four seconds; the car has a range of 200 miles on a single charge. The roadster will plug in to a normal household socket.

So how is making the all electric roadster good for our enviroment when the average joe cannot afford these cars. That people are forced to operate a combustable engine. If Henry Ford was still alive and making these electric roadsters he would make sure that everyone could afford such vehicles. 100,000 to buy a roadster is off the charts to save the world.
The producer of auto makers should be charged and making such vehicles be illegal. These producers should be the ones accountable for cleaning the enviroment. If a auto maker is willing to charge this riddiculous price for a vehicle. Should be charged for cleaning the enviroment from oilspills, airpollution, junk cars, car batteries, gasoline spills. 100,000 for a roadster why?
I mean producers of combustible engines should be charge and such vehicles should be illegal to make.
