Sony has very recently unveiled its sexy 11.1-inch notebook pc VAIO TZ18GN, which is thankfully equipped with SSD instead of HDD. This is great news, simply because an SSD based notebook pc features significantly faster booting speed.

Not only that, but it will feature a lighter weight and a much longer battery life than existing HDD based laptops we are all used to. The TZ18GN is really impressive weighing just 1.15kg and lasting 11.5 hours.

Details as to whether or not it will reach the States is unconfirmed, but let’s hope so. Sony are really revolutionising and changing the way notebooks pcs are being made on a daily basis and how we love it.
