To celebrate the fact that there’s one year to go ’till the Beijing olympics, (not that I see too much of a cause for celebration) Lenevo are launching a few, limited edition, unique olympics themed laptops for the benefit of charities worldwide.
Always a good note to see huge companies like Lenevo, the third largest PC manufacturer in the world, care about charities and such.
Many athletes are supporting this idea, including:
* Gale Emms, badminton, Great Britain, 2004 Olympic silver medalist
* Libby Lenton, swimming, Australia, 2004 Olympic gold and bronze medalist
* Eamon Sullivan, swimming, Australia, 2004 Olympian
* Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh, beach volleyball, United States, 2004 Olympic gold medalists
* Adam van Koeveden, canoe/kayak, Canada, 2004 Olympic gold and bronze medalist
* Liu Xiang, track and field, China, 2004 Olympic gold medalist
How much do you think the laptops will go for in auction?
