JJ Abrams sells supernatural pitch to Paramount

JJ Abrams has sold a pitch for a new supernatural thriller which is to be written and directed by Maria Full of Grace filmmaker Josh Marston. The film hasn’t yet got a title but will be produced under JJ Abram’s Bad Robot production company, which means we won’t know anything for a hell of a long time - déjà vu anyone?

It’s likely that there’ll be a teaser trailer attached to Cloverfield/1-18-08 which will then lead to a myspace profile which launches a viral web campaign where people will discuss at great length the nature of the supernatural element.

According to variety, Bad Robot now has at least seven projects set up by Paramount and they span the comedy, romantic comedy, horror and supernatural genres. That is all we know - quelle surprise!
