Basically to break this down without going too much into it children whose health insurance that does not cover newly recommended shots which means it is best to have no insurance at all that having one. Ok yes there are free vaccines that are available to children who are uninsured or who qualify for public insurance.
But this is where it all turns, many states cannot afford to help these children who have private insurance that does not cover new or expensive vaccine shots and even more so older shots, this all in all puts many of our young kids at risk. For example Illinois do not give vaccines for pneumonia, chickenpox, rotavirus, human papillomavirus and hepatitis A and to children with insufficient private insurance, means that their parents would have to spend a staggering $400 out of their own savings for these vaccines.
Should all children’s health insurance cover them for ALL vaccines?
