Be Kind Rewind movie trailer leaked on YouTube

The trailer for Michel Gondry’s new comedy Be Kind Rewind premiered at Comic Con last weekend. It was taped by someone who then uploaded the video to YouTube. I wouldn’t recommend viewing the trailer on a handheld camera and you don’t have to wait much longer until the trailer is released with Rush Hour 3 (Friday 10th August)

The trailer will also premiere online Thursday. In the movie, we meet Jerry (Jack Black) a junkyard worker who attempts to sabotage a power plant he suspects of causing his headaches. He inadvertently causes his brain to become magnetizes which leads to the unintentional destruction of all the movies in his friend’s (Mos Def) store. In a bid to keep the stores one and only loyal customer, an elderly lady with a tenuous grasp on reality, the pair re-create a long line of films including The Lion King, Rush Hour, Ghostbusters, When We Were Kings, Back to the Future and Robocop. They then become the biggest stars in the neighbourhood!

Be Kind Rewind will hit cinemas on December 21st 2007
