Audi A8 with TFSI green engine: to compete with Lexus 600h and BMW 7 Hydrogen
The Audio A8 might be big but it is going to show that it has a green side, as they will launch a new TFSI engine. This huge luxury sedan will compete with other green cars such as the Lexus LS 600h, and the BMW 7 Hydrogen.

This new engine is a V6 2.8 TSI which produces 210hp and has a top speed of 238 km/h, 0-60 time is about 8 seconds. The car will achieve about 28mpg combined cycle. Although you might think that these specs are not very green, just consider that the Lexus LS 600h will only achieve about 25mpg.

What helps the Audi A8 become greener than other models is the use of lightweight materials such as aluminum, the aerodynamics of the vehicle also makes it very fuel efficient.
