With the world said to end in a few decades time thanks to our friendly friend, Mr Global Warming, manufacturers are spending their last days on earth creating computer peripherals that use renewable energy. With the mouse being the most power consuming computer peripheral, this could be a large step forward indeed.

One of the drawbacks of this solar powered mouse however, is that it requires real sunlight, so it does need to be placed next to a window (preferably not overnight) to charge up. Having said this, all in all it does seem like a good idea, after all this could bring forth many different peripherals that don’t use non-renewable energy sources. Good work!
