Silent and green Zero-X: Electric off-road motorcycle only $6,900

If you love to go off road on two wheels but sometimes the sound of those screaming engines drill through your head, then you will pleased to know that the Zero-X is an off-road motorcycle with a difference. The Zero-X is an electric bike will cost you only $6,900 and for that you get a bike that is silent and more importantly green.

Many of us love to race through the mud on our off-road motorcycles, but we do not think of the damage that is causing to our environment, which is why the Zero-X was developed. The bike runs on a lithium ion battery which has a range of about 40 miles, and will charge in about 3 hours. The bike only weighs 120Ibs; this allows the bike to be very quick and very nimble handling this makes it perfect for off-road action.

Zero are now working hard to bring us a road version of this motorcycle, this will need to have a longer range than the off-road version. The future is looking greener for motorcyclists then
