Matt Damon is the best value for money when it comes to casting films

If you’re looking for good value for money when casting your movie, you can’t get better than Matt Damon. According to a new survey by Forbes magazine, The Bourne Supremacy star gives the best box office returns for his Hollywood salary.

The actor offers twice the value of Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks, making a massive $29 for each dollar he is paid. Jennifer Aniston was the highest-ranked actress on the list at number five, one spot ahead of former love rival Angelina Jolie.

The first two Bourne films have made $850 million with the third at the top of the US Box office.

Matt’s Oceans 11 friend Brad Pitt came second on the list, making $24 for each dollar of his salary. The survey was compiled using the income from each actor’s last three films.
