America have been anxious for the release of the popular Indian Mahindra vehicles, it now seems as if the wait will now go on until 2009. Once these Mahindra vehicles hit the states, it is thought that the small pickup race could really heat up and intensify.
The Indian car maker will first unleash their new two- and four-door pickups onto the American market, with the best of the bunch being the 4-cylinder diesel engine version, which will produce around 180 horsepower and will pump out 300 pound-feet of torque, it will also come with a six-speed automatic transmission.
These Mahindra pick-ups should average in the high 30’s in fuel consumption on the highway, these Mahindra vehicles do come with a 60,000 mile warranty, expect to pay around the $20,000 mark
