Many computer manufacturers are recently turning to a different operating system, disappointed with the recent Windows Vista. As a result of this, Linux has been gaining more and more popularity over the past few weeks with companies like Dell and Acer trying out and testing their consumers with a different OS.
Recently, Lenevo, the world’s number three PC maker has announced its efforts to go Linux, allowing a few of it’s laptops to go linux in the fourth quarter of this year, being sold to businesses and consumers alike. Undoubtedly, the Linux operating system has been one of the fastest growing operating systems of all time, with huge successes still to come.
What do you think of the recent opening to linux? Do you think a global switch to linux would be beneficial? Or should we stick to Windows?
