The Dark Knight Anime direct-to-DVD Project Revealed

Batmanonfilm has got their mits on a leaked info sheet for a Batman anime project which hasn’t been officially announced yet. The project would work the same way that the Animatrix did for The Matrix films, which was also released by Warner Bros.

The project would consist of six short stories which would fill in any unclear gaps between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. The anthology, rated a PG-13, will be geared towards core fans and tween boys.

The name attached to supposedly write the stories include Josh Olsen (The History of Violence), David Goyer (Blade, Batman Begins) and famed comic book writer Brian Azzarello.
