Ron Paul is a Republican congressman and a candidate for US President, if you didn’t know already.
Ron Paul enjoys a good amount of support online and a number of people voice their support for Ron Paul in comments here at Product Reviews, but that’s is not going to get Ron Paul elected.
Ron Paul needs votes, support outside of the internet and at the moment, he doesn’t have enough to run for President. Ron Paul has less than 2% of the vote among Republican candidates, and he was unceremoniously excluded from an Iowa debate in June organized by a tax watchdog group that happens to share his political views.
Ron Paul has over 160,000 mentions on Digg.com, which is more that the next four most popular candidates put together.
According to Alexa.com, Ron Paul’s website has a narrow lead over the Democratic candidates and is way ahead of his fellow Republicans.
On Technorati, “Ron Paul” is the most searched term, beating “iPhone” and “Paris Hilton”.
Ron Paul has got the support of many in the US Military over his long held view that the USA should not be in Iraq, due to the mess the Iraq war has created. Ron Paul also has the support of some influential figures such as Bob Novak, but at the moment it is not enough to get him elected!
Although Ron Paul may have the internet covered, we are along way from seeing Ron Paul in the Oval Office.
Ron Paul is certainly the President of the Internet, but can he become the President of the USA?

For Dr. Paul to do well, it is important that those who support him register as a Republican (www.gop.org/) That way, the person will be able to vote in the primary election.
This is very important. There is time, but please don’t forget.
Ron Paul has a good chance of winning.
Do not listen to the so called ‘Scientific Polls’. Ron Paul is not included in the cleverly woven questions pollsters are asking. This has been well documented.
Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were doing about the same in the ‘Scientific Polls’ at this stage in their elections. ‘Scientific Polls’ at this stage only measure name recognition. Over the next six months Ron Paul will gain name recognition. Most people who learn about Ron Paul become major supporters.
A big problem with our electoral process is that the old media generally supports the candidates with the most money. Those are the worst candidates because they are owned by special interest and lobbyists.
Dr. Ron Paul is the only major candidate not owned by military-industrial-complex, corporations, special interest, lobbyists, etc. Fix the system and vote Ron Paul. And tell everyone you know. Now is the time to set ourselves free.
We Ron Paul supporters will need to work extra hard to spread his message the old fashioned way, by word of mouth, person to person. This is how people did it before the MSM. This is how we will have to do it now, with a little help from the internet too.
“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.” John Quincy Adams
Join the Revolution — Vote Ron Paul!
This is just plain dis-information. He’s won the debates. Its articles like these that attempt to hide that truth.
I think this is a good one to send to people - sort of pisses you off and makes you want to push that much harder for Ron Paul:

Ron Paul won the debate according to ABC’s own poll.

Ron Paul has over 30,000 registered volunteers. More than all other candidates combined (maybe more than any candidate in history). And more registering now at Meetup.com.
Ron Paul got 4th! Isn’t that amazing! This person everyone thinks only has 2% of the vote in the whole country, came out above the so called front runners. The media needs to stop lying to it’s self. It’s funny how scared they all are of Ron Paul. He has a huge chance, this should send a huge message to Ron Paul, that his support is out there. So even though all the media wants to do is tell Ron Paul too just quit. Lets all be strong and learn and educate ourselves with who the real Ron Paul is!!!
Democrats, Libertarians, Independents, and anyone not registered, go become part of the republican party, so we can all support him in the primary!!!!
