Nintendo Wii getting locking clasp on Wiimote straps

Nintendo have already given us a wrist strap for our Wiimote, but it now seems as if the Wii remote is to have a fourth version of the strap, this time it will include a locking clip this will help to hold the loop around your wrist more securely.

The older strap did have a tendency to slide of your wrist, thus still waiting to take your television out. Nintendo has not given any word yet as to when we will be seeing these new locking straps, and it is not sure if existing Wii owners will be getting a free upgrade to the new strap.
